Hi

don't think its a turbo actuator as you would get a fault, sticky actuator would cause under or over boost, which would create a fault

black smoke tends to point more to a fuel problem injector or faulty sensor causing a richer mixture, hence black smoke

best way take it to a specialist really, at least its done and dusted, saves replacing good parts to eliminate fault

I think the black smoke would have been sorted out by now.

Hi,

my van was smoking bad under hard acceleration and sometimes it smoked all the time,

I bought an egr blanking plate, got the tuner to fit it and delete the egr from the ecu, 

After l that No smoke now !!!
