Hi All,

i have owned my 2012 XJ351 for a year now and it is the love of my life. Sadly the car has recently started having serious issues with the bodywork and also alloy wheels cracking. On various areas of the car the paint has started to blister especially around the bottom of the rear passenger doors, around the fuel filling area and the internal sections of both rear wheel arches, I have taken the car back to the local main dealer who has taken photographs of the car to send to jaguar. I received an email on Friday to say that jaguar themselves want to view the car due to the level of work required but early indications are that they will not rectify these issues, I have also had to have 2 alloy wheels replaced as they have cracked. The overall paint work on the car looks very dull and flat (I have checked to make sure it has not been re sprayed prior to me buying it ). Can anyone offer me any advice on what my next step should be in the event that jaguar refuse to help, I have stuck by the jaguar brand for 25 years and feel a little let down at their response so far.

Many thanks for the advice Ron,

i'm hoping it won't come to that but the response I've had so for is that the 'doors may have been removed and refitted incorrectly' and 'the petrol filling area may have had some work on it' so I'm getting the impression that they are going to try and wriggle out of correcting the issues.

Thanks.
