Hi there ladies and gents and those with mental disorders that are not sure.

Just Joined up so am pleased to be the newest member to this elite club, I have a 2006 2.7 TD V6 and LOVE it..

Welcome the the Club, Stuart.

I am a bit biased in favour of the S Type Jaguar.  I have had one for 4years and 8 months and other than tyres and fuel I have only had to buy a new water pump.

The 2.7 diesel is a great engine, too, and just need a long run once a month to keep the DPF clean.

I would recommend using Premium diesel, and I have found it gives a better mpg.

Regards,

Peter.

Just a mile from the Staffordshire border.

Hi There Stuart and Congratulations on Joining the Club,

Although I live on the Shropshire / Herefordshire border now I am still a Staffordshire Boy - drug up in Newcastle under Lyme.

In my view the S Type is the best of the rest but I still hanker after the XK - no helping some people.

You'll enjoy the Jag experience and will add yet another smug smile to the roads.

All the Best

Memo to self,    when travelling or parking up with our XK in the vicinity of Leominster etc., watch out for a '02 S-type with tow bar on the rear lurking with intent.       Warning.....our XK bites!!!!

Happy growling
