Backlit levers?

I just noticed it while driving home tonight that every button and control are backlit. Except the light lever (handle, stalk or whatever they're called in English) and wiper lever. Aren't they supposed to be backlit too?

Hi Knut,

I have never noticed the stalk at night [it could also be called the whatsit in English] .

I will have a look later!
