Hi

looking to sell my jag, however I have no clue as to the value of my jag as it’s a pre production vehicle that was for the press.

How do I make a valuation?

Who do I contact with regs to how many of these vehicles were produced?

Details:

-Year 2006

-Black on black Convirtable

-XK60 kit

-Cream and black interior leather

-Full Piano black dash trims

-Audio Connectivity Module Installed

-20” Senta Alloys

-Full jag service history

Any assistance greatly appreciated

Many thanks

I think Joe is correct.  The best way to calculate a price for such a rare care ir to find the highest price of the models being sold and increase it from there,

Peter.

Hi Affy

Having just read your thread, my partner suggests that Jaguar Classic at Ryton would possibly be of some assistance; they may refer you to somebody in Jaguar Heritage who own/manage the collection at Gaydon, which includes many prototypes, pre-production models and other equally rare one-offs, not to mention first and last of production runs.

We have spoken on a few issues and they are usually pretty helpful.

We work on the basis of if you don't ask, you don't get!!!

Good luck

Further to the above, have you thought of communicating with the folk at Jaguar World magazine (or Jaguar Classic) which are produced by Kelsey Publishing.    They also often do articles on particularly interesting Jaguars such as yours.   Just a thought.

I would suggest that what you have is a normal XK that has had the XK60 bodykit fitted at a later stage (unless you have owned the car from new)

The X150 version of the XK appeared in showrooms in March / April 2006, the press cars were late 2005 as far as I can remember.

The bodykit fitted to the 2008 XK60 'special edition' was available to buy as a dealer fit accessory to 'retro fit' onto any 4.2 XK.

If you let me have the last 6 digits of your chassis number, I can run the car through our system at work to find out the original build spec and designation ?

Hi Jon,

Long shot but are you able to check model by sending the last six digits of my vin over?

Many Thanks
