engine fualt

hi I'm New I have only had my 2003 x type from February this year everything was fine till this morning when my engine management light came on after a few minutes it starts to flash and  I get another amber light comes on and a message says cruise control not available, It also seems to judder and run sluggish. does any one have any ideas?

Worth getting the codes read Kevin. Even a cheap code reader should point you in the right direction. loads of info on which one to choose on this and other forums.

Might be something simple like a  sensor or even a battery on it's way out.

Battery would be my first thought. If you are able to park somewhere where you can run a cable, I would advise plugging it into a CTEK Battery Conditioner (or similar) for at least 12 hours to see if this helps.
