Hi,

well got a ecu reader and its NOT the one from British as that has not worked,

went to a local garage who did some other work as it was smoking badly. new filter and diesel,

but they could not read the ecu, nothing not a light on any thing then found out its been remapped and had the DPF removed.

would like to return back to stock and replace the DPF as I know this will be a problem next year for MOT

Any one done this please?.

Hi Mike,

Serious!  Could you contact the previous owner and as a few questions, as the cost of replacing a DPF is not a cheap one.

I am not a fan of remapping as there are some dubious garages about that the previous owner might have used.

Let us know how you get on,

Regards,

Peter.

well had a little go with the magic box and its come up with,

B1242 Recirculating air flow Door actuator circuit failure.

B1265 Cool air servo motor circuit failure

P010c Mass or air flow B circuit low

P010P Mass or volume air flow sensor A/B corrolation

Exhaust gas reticulation valve set-point 12.37

O controller -5-13

Valve 1 controller -5.00

Deviation

Fuel pressure 27.6

Injectors      1.   1072          2: 773       3: 1144     4:  975     5: 1056    6: 918

Manifold absolute pressure senor 102.000

Mass air flow  0.640

will do more tomorrow  do you feel that these are OK as I have not put the DPF back on yet and what would make it smoke so much.
