hi i have an  xf r sport 2013 and every time i start to go round a left hand corner at even a crawling speed it makes a small clonking noise just does it once every time but sounds like plastic bottle tapping off something have had it to 2 diffrent garages and niether can find this problem can anyone help

Without being facetious, it could be worth doing a right hand turn and listening.  Also try bouncing the front and seeing if you can hear anything.

It ould turn out to be something very simple.

done all of this as have both garages an only does it when turning left not when turning right or when bouncing over very rough ground got me baffled

Mine did this but was creaking noise turning on right hand lock but got gradually worse to slow speeds when turning....had the steering rack bushes renewed and all quiet now
