Hi

I have lost audio warnings on my 2004 Jaguar S Type 2.7 diesel and think I have tracked the fault down to the integral speaker on the instrument panel.  Has anyone tried to repair the panel in the past and can you offer some advice?  And has anyone have a redundant instrument panel unit that they might be prepared to sell?

Thank you

Noel

I feel it's possible I was not clear enough in my original post.  The part I require is the instrument cluster although I don't really need the full binnacle - just the circuit card that holds the integral speaker.  I'm hoping to de-solder the speaker and swap it out for the original on my cluster.  I hope (and this is probably a vain hope - nothing is that simple on Jaguars) by doing this to avoid going through the rigmarole of having to re-configure a replacement binnacle.

Hi yes I have 2 of the clusters from a previouse project, one is from a pre face lift s type and fully working and one from a face lift model with a dodgy fuel guage you are most welcome to one or both, as I said pm me the address and I will forward to you.

Thank you for your kind offer.  My address is:

My S Type is the post face lift model so that cluster would probably be the better if packaging is a problem for both.  If you let me have your bank details then I can transfer the money direct otherwise let me know how to get you the money for the postage.

Yours
Noel
