Just bought my new toy am extremely happy with it but as to be expected I have a list as long as my arm of niggly faults. Thought I would introduce myself to fellow owners.

Have had the car out for its first drive today I am already in love with the power. Their is a fairly long list of work to do though.

Drivers door doesn't always unlock.

Suspension bush to change

Heater doesn't get very hot.

Faulty fuel gauge.

Sticking brake caller.

Drivers seat doesn't slide forward off the button but does with memory positions

Few patches of body work to tidy

Wheel refurbishment all round

Hi Shaun and Welcome to the Club,

A very nice example of the XJR there and it looks like you'll be having some oily fun as well.

There are, to my mind, two pleasures to be had from any of the older marques. The first comes simply from being behind the wheel and the second comes from putting them back into prime condition.

Enjoy, and keep us all posted.

Ron, as always is right, keep it away from airport and supermarket car-parks if you want to keep the coachwork in good order. If ever you hear of a Granny Massacre at a super-market it's probably me.

Cheers,

Steve
