Hi,

Came onto the forum wondering if any one can tell me about new Jaguar deliveries.

I ordered an E-Pace towards the end of last year and have had delivery date put back twice, last informative info I got, two or three weeks ago was that my car is in the country but there is a backlog of deliveries to dealers and enquiries about it now are met in a very off-hand manner, last got a response along the lines of 'well you've waited for it this long whats a bit longer going to matter'.

Is this sort of thing normal?

Welcome to the Club, E,

I don't understand the bit "your car is in the country" in a reply.  I thought we made Jaguars in this country, unless  they think that Yorkshire is foreign.

I would be inclined to do a bit of subterfuge, and call in at a dealership and ask the question "If I ordered an E-Pace today, how long would it take to get it delivered?"

You might get an interesting answer.

My daughter in law ordered a Yaris Hybrid two weeks ago and picked it up on Sunday.  That's efficient!

Regards,

Peter,

Hi

Yes the above post is correct. I work for jaguar. the xf xe are made at castle Bromwich alongside the xj and f type. The f pace is made at Solihull land rover plant

The new I pace and e pace are being made in Europe.

I finally got the car, about a month later than expected.

Disappointed with customer service so far, the handbook reads a bit like the ones you get with Chinese stuff, dealer has stopped talking to me and not getting anywhere with Jag UK customer service.

Thinking of trying a little note to CEO.

It is a pity that such a great car does not seem to get the after sales care that it needs.

The handbook I got with my s type [07 plate] is great and very useful, but the car was made when Ford owned the company, and Ford are noted for trying to get things right.

There are some dealers who are very good and some who let the manufacturer down.  I think Jaguar should do what they did when John Egan was CEO.

Regards,

Peter.
