I have recently bought my first jaguar, an XJ Sport, and i have noticed that the boot lid  especially on the nearside on the rear edge,  the boot lid is proud of the rear screen scuttle panel by about 6-8 mm. how  do i adjust the boot lid height? on first look all i can see is the hinge inside the boot connected to the gas strut that disapears under the rear parcel shelf.

has any one got any advice or experience of removing and refitting the boot lid.

I have a photo of the boot lid on my phone but dont know how to upload it onto here.
