When I first signed up with Green Flag in 2013 the cost was just a touch over £50 which was good value. Now the price has increased to £115.00! (And if you want to cancel, or leave Green Flag, they charge you an extra £10.00 'administration fee' for the please.

Does anyone else find these massive increases unacceptable and are there any other recovery companies out there doing a better deal?

Hi Again Nick,

They are all becoming rather exorbitant and it seems today that customer loyalty counts for nothing. Best suggestion I can offer is that you check out some of the comparison sites to see what the service differences and relative prices are.

You'll need more luck with this problem than your other post I'm sorry to say but if you find a good deal let me know. My cover is linked to my car policy and Im expecting some games come renewal.

Hi Steve, how right you are. Loyalty counts for nothing these days. In fact, it's the loyal customers that pay for the new customer discounts!

Btw I just bought a 2006 S-type Sport and I'm very happy with it. That's it in the picture. Not bad for my old car plus £2k!

I was with Green Flag for 2/3 year's latterly through my insurance company, and have now joined the auto aid breakdown.co.uk on the recommendation of a form member the cost was under £45 pounds for UK cover.

I haven't used them as i only joined them in March, but the member from this Forum has been with them for 10 years  and has called them out twice and was very satisfied with them.I'm hopefull the member on here will come forward and give his comments.

Regards Tom.

Autoaid charge £79.00 as against Green Flag's £115.00 for the equivalent service. A £45 saving. So, not at all bad.

Has anyone tried Emergency Assist Ltd. They are advertising the same recovery product from £35.00. Too good to be true?

Yes that's the renewal cost if you're already a member.

But i 've just joined them after your recommendation, unless i paid by direct debit and by doing so saved £5 pounds.
