I came across this car whilst perusing Autotrader, the advert clearly states that it is a Supercharged Petrol version.

https://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201712031788000?sort=price-asc&advertising-location=at_cars&model=XF&year-from=2007&postcode=sp12qx&maximum-mileage=125000&minimum-badge-engine-size=3.0&radius=1500&transmission=Automatic&exclude-writeoff-categories=on&onesearchad=Used&onesearchad=Nearly New&onesearchad=New&make=JAGUAR&page=1

I was under the impression that the Supercharged engine was not available until much later? The car is a late 2007 registration.

It also states that the car has start/stop, that didn't come in til the facelift models which was post 2011/12 I believe. Definitely seems a little suspect.

Have you tried putting the number plate into we buy any car. That should give the correct engine at least.

Good call.

WBAC say it is a 4.2 V8 Supercharged! Another check site lists it as a 3l V Petrol...........................  :)

AskMID shows it as an SV8

Checking on the DVSA site for VED shows it as 2867cc     !!!!!!!!!!
