Hi Joe,

On the 7th and 8th of Julythere is the annual event of "Cars in the Park" at Lichfield.  Well worth attending.

Don't forget the JOC event at Lancaster Jaguar in Tamworth on 22nd July.  I hope there is a good attendance.

Regards,

Peter.

Joe,

You've done it again - another masterpiece of masterpieces, keep them coming.

I'm not sure if the somewhat mournful music inspired my responses but while I am always glad to see such fine examples of our motoring history receiving the financial and labour investments needed to preserve them, I am nevertheless always saddened by the fact that so many are kept only for show and not go. If more classics such as these had headlight wash/wipers I am sure that many would be fluttering to wipe away their tears.

By The Way - the opening shots of the Jensens surprised me for a moment, as there were so many, until I remembered the outfit that bought out the original factory equipment et al and are still manufacturing body parts etc. - another piece of knowledge garnered from Edd China.

Cheers,

Steve

Great collection of fine classic cars...some of which I haven't seen around for many years...which as Cubist has mentioned, maybe a lot of them are for 'show' and not so much for 'go'
