Hi all, classing myself as a noob although i've been in and around Jaaaags for most of my life.

My Dad had a new one every year until he retired as he was Chauffeur for the chairman of a large building and construction company and I had an old late 70's early 80's XJ6 in '91 for a year.

I'm currently slumming it in a Vauxhall/Peugeot Insignia and am looking to purchase a new XF with all the toys, as a bit of an homage to dad who passed away last year.

so any advice is always welcome.

regards

Brian

Hi Brian and Welcome to the Club,

A fitting homage I think and I suspect your Dad would be wearing the Jag grin too.

Keep us posted on how you get on with the search and acquisition.

Cheers,

Steve

Welcome to the Club, Brian.

The XF is a nice car, and succeeded the S Type.

It is wise to get as many bells and whistles as possible  --  they add an extra touch.

Regards,

Peter.
