Hello,

Some time since I last posted, but I have been busy! The gearbox on my car was checked, no fault codes and I was told that it is about normal. It's behaving itself and the advice is to leave it alone...The roof lining has finally had it! There are now more than a dozen push pins holding it up. I have found a guy in Dorset who has quoted £250.00 to replace, including the A pillars. His work that I have seen on facebook looks really good, going in the week after next after it's MOT, so we will have a couple of days away as well...He does trim, seats, all sorts and seems very very reasonable. I will let you all know how it goes as this may be a godsend to some of us!

Hope you are all enjoying your cars and this lovely weather!

Cheers Jim,

Glad to hear the gearbox is is sound and that you have found someone for the interior work. Keep us posted and some pics may be useful to compare before and after.

Good luck and enjoy Dorset.

I will definitely be doing some before and after shots! I will post them, and some other shots as I am about to become a mature student studying photography!

Now I'm worried. I'm assuming 'still life' will be on the curriculum and I'm not sure about the 'before and after....what?'

Before and after the roof lining! - mine has so many push pins it looks like a map of the cosmos! I have just  had some lacquer done, should go through the MOT OK. Still life will be on the curriculum, but not ready to post them just yet...
