Hi just got a 2005 xtype sport estate,all good except 40mmiles from home after being on motorway noticed a shuddering when braking ,any ideas or help?

Welcome to the club, Dave.

I think Steve is pointing in the right direction. The best route to go on with an issue is usually the cheapest.

You should also check the last MOT for any advisories.  Use the free app called Vehicle Smart which will give you the last and previous MOT results.
