2009 XK SAT NAV NOT WORKING

Hi, can anyone help me please? I have recently bought a 2009 XK. When I use the satellite navigation system to navigate to a location nearby (5 miles) the system works. However, when I try to navigate to a location a few more miles away the system says”Route could not be found.” The disc is a 2010-11 but it is fairly scratched up. Many thanks in advance for your help.

Hi Laurie and Welcome to the Club,

Damage to the existing disc is likely to be the problem. 

 You can get hold of a new cd, the latest available version is 2012 I think, for about £10-15 pounds I from sellers that advertise in Amazon and eBay but do check to make sure the seller has a good history.
