X type windscreen heater has failed on one side

Help!!! The driver’s side of my screen has stopped working and I’m wondering/ hoping that it’s just a loose connection. 

Many ideas welcome.

The windscreen has two halves, electrically speaking and the fuses are in the engine compartment fusebox, numbers F14 and F15 (possibly model dependent). If it's not either fuse, then it might be the connector tucked away at the bottom corners of the screen which can be prone to corrosion.
