BOOT DOES NOT OPEN WITH BUTTONS

Hi i have a jag s type 2007 diesel, no valet button just glove box that lockds. My button on dash or boot does not work to open boot, battery is ok. Jag want £150 before it goes on ramp, can you assist anyone...my key fob opens it . Thanks Peter

Sound like the car is in 'VALET' mode ?

Does your car have the touchscreen navigation system, if so, I think that the valet mode is activated and deactivated by entering a 'PIN' number ?

if your glove box light and switch are unplugged, the give the same effect of the valet switch operated
