After my incident with the security post I have now replaced or repaired the coolant hoses and the guard underneath. Then a wheel bearing rear passenger side decided to make noises. All sorted now 馃檪聽torx聽聽screw heads were badly rusted and had to grind聽them off. Welded nuts to the remaining studs and they came out after applying heat to the hub carrier.聽

Wheel bearing didn鈥檛 have any movement up/down or side/side. It just made a high pitched noise when going round a right turn corner. I think the grease was overheated when my calliper jammed last year. Drove 1000 miles since and mpg now up to 45 mpg from 35. 馃檪

Did some long distance motorway driving last week. Couldn鈥檛 believe it when the car returned 51 mpg. The hub must have been sticking for last few years - no play at all in it, just an intermittent squeak.聽
