MK IV CABRIOLET?

Good Afternoon.  I am a new member to the cub and have a question concerning what I believe is a 3.5 litre Mk IV or V Cabriolet.  I have been approached by someone wishing to sell the car here in France.  So far I have seen only photos but I wonder if the Club could help me with some background.  The UK registration number is GSC 506, the colour cream with light leather interior and white wall tyres.  She is RHD and said to have been dormant for the last twenty years or so.

 

Any comments would be helpful,

the uk registration number does not exist

you might be better off trying to use the vin number

Dear Joe,

 

I now have a bit more info.  The chassis No is 617107, Engine S3650 and Body C1328. I think the car may have come from somewhere near Crewkerne in 1993; Any details of build date and subsequent history would be very helpful.
