We're having trouble with our 2017 F-Type R's convertible roof leaking when exposed to a high pressure car wash wand.  Driver and passenger sides at top of window where there is a "notch" in the rubber seal.  This doesn't happen when washed at home with a garden hose.  But, keeping it clean in the winter requires going to one of those car wash stalls with the high pressure wands.  Anyone else having this problem?  Our dealer tried to fix it last fall, but to no avail.  I am taking it back to them next Friday to see if they can fix it once and for all.  However, I'm not confident they will fix the issue.

Hi Michael,

About 15 years ago I bought quite a good high pressure wash, mainly to clean the patio and conservatory roof.  In the instructions it mention that you should never us a high pressure washer on a car, and especially not on a convertible.

Not using such a washer is really the solution.

Regards,

Peter.
