Hi as a new member hopefully doing this right I have a S Type 1999 having a intermittent problem with the drivers seat when you put the ignition key in the seat does not go forward but when this happens the rest of the seat works not had a look yet thought i would ask for some advice thanks David.

most probably a break in the wires for the seat

if your using the seat auto function so it moves every time you get out and back in, its at the age now, where the seat and wiring are getting worn out

personally i'd just turn the function off and thats it job done
