Hi everyone, I hope some of you can help me here, the car has 2 keys, suddenly the one my wife uses gave the security failure message on the dash and would not startand stranded her. I got there and used my j\key and the car works OK.

I re-paired both keys using the positions 1 to 2 x 4 times routine both with the drivers door open and closed and the chimes were correct and all the buttons on both fobs work correctly but my wifes keys still failed to get passed security failure.

Got a new key and fob from Amazon, had the key cut to suit and re-paired the new and my old key in the car, all buttons work to open close doors, headlight and boot opening, BUT it will still only let my old key start the car, neither the new one or my wifes old one work, just my one, all have new batteries in them as well.

Questions:

1.  Is there another coding needed that only Jaguar can do to reset the security and get both keys to work?

2.  Is there another solution that someone has to cure this one key syndrome?

Thanks in advance.
