Last checks while in warranty

Hello,

I just bought a 2016 XF-R , 2.0 Diesel, Auto from the dealer a few weeks ago and it came with 6 months warranty.  I was wondering if you's know of any common faults/problems with this model that i can have checked and fixed while still under the dealer warranty. Everything seems fine atm but i'm planning on keeping this car for life and want to keep it tip top. Also the service intervals and 21000 or 24 months ? That seems a bit high. On my previous cars i was doing them yearly or less.

Hello Ryan.

Welcome to the Club.

Does your Stop/Start work, I had to get a new 12 Volt AGM battery and it now work's perfectly, i would ask them about the Ad Blue because it's stated that if the Container is Over filled it can cause problems and could cost £160 pounds to get it sorted.

Make sure all your Door Locks, Heated Screens and electric Windows work.

And for Servicing find a Good Independent jaguar Garage, you may have a good jaguar dealer, but in the UK there are some that haven't done a proper service and some owner's have had there Dash Cams dismantled with cables hanging down from the roof lining.Probably to stop the owner from seeing what is going on in the workshop.
