plastic cill covers

Good morning, After coming home from the car wash yesterday I noticed that where the mud etc had been around the front wheel arch/ cill position I could see some surface rust. I assume that there is probably more rust under the cill covers. How east is it to remove and refix the plastic covers ? Thanks

get the cover off and have a look, they usually completely rot away

new clips are available off eBay

Hi Joe, Plastic cill covers removed, inner cills derusted painted and plastic cill covers refixed. Only broke one clip. Bought a pack off eBay. Thanks for your advice.
