Hi All

I have a Jaguar STR 2007 and am finding water is collecting in the footwell and boot following rain.

Does anyone have any idea what may be causing this and any ways of sorting it out?

Cheers.

For the boot I'd start by checking the condition/position of the boot lid seal. For footwell water do the same for the door, windscreen and, if you have one, sunroof seals, and check that the vallance vents at the bottom of the windscreen aren't blocked. If all looks good get a helper to spray a water hose over the car and get in the car/boot with a torch.

Good luck

hi

could be one of many things

but things to check, sill drains blocked, especially if you have a sunroof, as it drains into the sills

rear door steps under the chrome jaguar steps there 2 holes, if these get blocked that area fills and overflows into the car

last boot, above the rear lights, it leaks in there through the lights, there should be a rubber piece there sealing it, it either shrinks or comes out, most people put a bead of silicone sealant there and that sorts it

cheers
