Hi all

I'm going to test drive an XF 3.0d Sportbrake on Tuesday, I've already sat in it but didn't have a drive. What are the main items that I should be looking for/ at? It's 12 months old and covered around 9000 miles. It is an ex Jaguar car, any issues with this?

I've read the stories about the infotainment issues, but I believe the 3.0d V6 is pretty reliable?

Also, looking for advice on service plans/ costs etc....

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thank you

Welcome to the Club Thomas.

You should check all door locks, windows, folding mirrors, leather seats .

And check if it drives alright in a straight line, and the steering wheel doesn't judder when applying the brakes.

Regards Tom.

does it have voice control and if so does it work ?My voice control on a 2009 XF s was disabled by JAG before i bought it .

Though they said it had been serviced , when i checked the air filter  it was BLACK.I think it had not been changed in the three years it was serviced by a jag dealership from new

Did you buy it ?

Mine has been great and still is

Test EVERYTHING and make sure it all works!

if it does, buy it. These cars are great

don’t worry about all the problems you read on forums, these are always the minority of cars built, the majority of cars you’ll never hear about is because they work
