Intercooler on xj

The intercooler, or charge air cooler as it is also known as, is purely to reduce the temperature of the air / fuel mixture going into the engine.

This results in a denser fuel / air mix, so increasing the power output of the engine.

So long as you get a good air-tight repair, I would go down the Araldite path, and cross my fingers.

The pressure in the charge air cooler, is delivered by the turbocharger, and is quite high, so maybe strengthening the

repair with metalic elements would be advisable.
