XF 3L Luxury 2010 No DAB?? Can I add DAB Module from Ebay

Can anyone help please help me.  I have just put a deposit on a 3L Luxury XF and it appears not to have a DAB radio or any USB ports (unless I have missed either).  There seem to oodles of 'DAB' units from 'breaking XFs' on online auction sites for less than a round of coffees!  Is it a relatively simple job to add such units to the existing system or do they need to be swapped with the existing radio module for just the AM/FM Radio?  I really would appreciate some sound comprehensive advice and if possible point me in the direction of a youtube video?  Or is it a case of 'off to Halfords' & swap the entire head unit for a brand new DAB Radio. Maybe you have what I need to undertake the conversion? 😁

2) Can one buy a 2020 sat nav dvd and insert it into the cd drive to update sat Nav that may have been last updated in 2010, (how can I tell when sat/nav was updated and how).  Sorry for all of the questions, it's just as a disabled Doctor accurate Sat Nav is imperative.

3) Finally which site do you recommend for 50+ chap with max no claims. 🤑

Questions 1 & 2 are the most important. Thanks in advance.

Hi Lee,

I have a 2011 XF-S (3.0L, Portfolio spec).

I can't help with your lack of DAB radio, but there have been a few threads on here discussing such upgrades.

As for USB ports, there should be 2 in  the storage area under the centre armrest.

SatNav upgrades...
The DVD drive for the satnav is in the boot, on the nearside. I got a DVD from www.latestsatnav.co.uk, worked perfectly! Cost: £29.99

Sorry about the DAB, but I hope the rest of the above helps.

Cheers
Jon
