ABS, AEB, ASPC, forward alert, driving modes unavailable

Looking for some help from some fellow XF owners

 Currently driving a 2017 2.0L diesel (183bhp)

On a trip home today, driving normally, then out of nowhere, some error messages start to flash up on the driver display: Millions of them (slight exaggeration)...

ABS Fault
Stability control not available, drive with care
AEB not available
Forward alert not available
Special modes unavailable
APSC not available

So, that's a whole lot of errors in one go, all electrical and seemingly related.

Has anyone else had this slew of heart attack inducing notifications? Is this a common fault? Any idea on causes? I only have this car a few weeks.

I'll be taking it in for a battery voltage check and diagnostics tomorrow, to get the error codes but any advice before then would be appreciated.

Went to my local garage today who advised that battery charge is fine but that the nearside front sensor is gone. 

On the way home the car registered a tyre pressure monitoring system fault. Does anyone know if this single sensor could also be the cause of that?

did you get to the problem with your ABS fault and associated tyre pressure monitoring system fault? My 2016 XF has just started with the same faults.

my offside front sensor looks to be faulty, what did yours cost?

This is just happened to my 2017 XF at the weekend 

Any idea of the cost to repair? I have an aftermarket warranty so hopefully covered.

Hi. I have the same error msg (abg, apsc, etc error) coming today in my 2016 XF. What did you guys do to solve it? Total cost?

I have just had all the same messages as above on my XE 

did anyone get any quotes for cost? 

the garage too told me that it was my offside sensor needed replacing.

Different car as a merc but similar issue. It normally a sensor somewhere that faulty and if one goes, it triggers a collection of errors like abs, stability control as they all connected. In the merc is was steering wheel sensor, probably not helpful to locate problem but my guess is a sensor.

Not aware of common sensor faults on these cars or if they are easy to access, usually simple to change yourself.

Suspect tyre presseure is seperate I belive to the cluster above.

Same as the posts above, however, I got all these messages yesterday pop up on my 2016 Jaguar XE 180 Diesel. Took it to my mates garage who did a battery test, which he said was OK, he then ran a full diagnostic test and it came back as front nearside wheel speed sensor fault. Car booked in for new sensor to be fitted 28/09/2023.. So cant give you cost for job and success rate ubtil after then, he did say a genuine Jaguar sensor would be around £120.oo ish, and then fitting...

Did anyone get to the bottom of these problems as I have the same issue with all those faults. I’ve also have both front wheel sensors changed and codes deleted and errors are still appearing. Thanks

Hi

Possible cause is a low voltage event from the battery, that really screws with the computers. It could be any othe ABS wheel sensors as well as a host of other sensors causing the issue. You really need to follow the codes.

I recommend give that car back wherever you bought it.at the moment ı have same problem.ıt cost you at least £2000

ECU engine control module problem that’s very expensive if module burn or gone.
