Hello new friends

Hi all! Good to be here. First time owner, I have just got myself a 2009 X Type and I think it's fair to say, I already know that I will never drive anything other than a Jag. I love it (her!). Being currently 1 week in to my 40s I have heard all the midlife crisis jokes! 

I am keen but not technically or mechanically minded in the slightest, so you will probably be hearing a lot from me!

Welcome to the club, Victoria.

The X type is a very sound car.  My first Jaguar was an X type 2.5 litre AWD which I enjoyed.

I wanted a Jaguar when I was in my 20's when seeing a friend  restore a Jaguar Mk I.  I got my X type when I was in my 70's!

Just keep you Jaguar looked after, do all the checks regularly and then just enjoy.

The club is a friendly one and you will get all the assistance you need.

Hi Victoria, I've just joined myself but welcome anyway!  You hear all the old jests but when they get in the car they're usually replaced with an "Oooooh."  It seems that they become a bit addictive!
