A/c orifice

I bought an 06 3.0 x type .I have been trying to locate the A/C orifice .Everywhere I've looked says it is in one of the A/C lines at firewall . I've looked and it's not there . Did Jaguar in their infinite wisdom put it somewhere else ? I'm a pretty good wrench with over 50  yrs in the motorcycle industry .
