Hi

not sure on the xf's , but theres usually somewhere under the bonnet to connect a charger

if your not using it much, I recommend a CTEK smart charger, with a convenience kit, the convenience kit allow a charging socket in the boot

you just plug in when not in use and it keeps your battery fully charged, save any problems, these cars are so sensitive to low battery voltage, it causes the modules to go in fault.

had one mine, ever since I had it, never had any problems with the car what so ever

cheers

Joe

The charger positive cable (Red ) onto the positive ( + ) on the Battery and the negative cable ( Black ) from the Charger onto the side off the wheel well, that's how i've got the Ctek comfort panel cable's connected which is fitted to the side wall off the boot.

Thanks for this suggestion Joe. I'm purchasing an XFR and the issues relating to low batteries were a concern as I don't use my car much. On my Lexus if I know it's not going anywhere I just pop a terminal off to prevent drain, but it looks as though Jaguars are very sensitive to that, so this charging solution will help!
