I'm getting tired of washing bird crap off my car, on a constant basis, and do a lot of motorway miles. So my beautiful XF is getting dusty.

Am considering a ceramic coating, with hydrophobic addition.

Thoughts? Yey or Nay?

It's a definite yay from me!

Had mine done a couple of months ago, and even in the current filthy weather, it almost seems to keep itself clean!

Well worth the money!

Cheers,
Jon

Can be, just make sure it is done properly and you do your homework.

Been put off from a couple of sub standards works I have seen.

I would definitely recommend. Had mine done a couple of years ago. Car still looks new (I am now selling it)

100% if you are doing lots of miles. it makes it a lot easier to clean, and i have stone chips that haven't made it through the coating that i can polish out with no paint damage. it's not a miracle formulare as they advertise but i'm certainly happy with it. unfortunately with my car being black it only stays clean for about 30 seconds.
