2" SU 8's required a pair with linkages or anything suitable other than HIF's that I've got. Can anyone help please?

Kind regards,

Which model Jaguar and engine are the carbs to fit? Nothing showing in your profile

You could contact Burlen fuel services in Salisbury as they are the SU carb dealer in the UK and they will be able to offer assistance

Many thanks for your suggestion.Already reconditioned both HIF 7's along with the AED from Burlen supplied recon' SU kits and installed a fuel shutoff solenoid.

4.2 XK engined SS100 homage - HS 8's+linkage with manual choke would do it.Anyone able to suggest any other carb' setups - Webbers ,Strombergs etc they have that work well, please?

What are you hoping to achieve by changing the carburettors, is it performance gains or is it for reliability?

I always found that the HIF setup always delivered both performance and relaibility but had to be set up correctly in the first place (e.g. vacuum, linkages, etc)
