Rear quarter lights Up and Down

This is an electrical question. Does anyone know how to RAISE the two quarter lights when the roof is down. We all know how to LOWER the two windows for extra fresh air when the roof is up, but who can tell me how to reverse this operation so as to have 'slightly' more security when the car is left with the top down.  No doubt it is something to do with boot relays and diodes.
