Central locking not working

Hi all, I have a 2011 XF and the central locking doesn’t work, I have used both remote keys and this doesn’t do anything. When I press the lock button the mirrors fold and you can hear the central locking noise and the indicators flash, but when I pull the door handles the car is open.

any help greatly appreciated.

Does your car have keyless entry.

When you lock the car place the fob at least 2 metres away from the car, does the car then stay locked when you try to open it. Not trying to teach you to suck eggs but some don’t understand how the system works.

Hey Jim, I’ll suck eggs all day long. I have just gone to open it without the keys and it’s locked, thank you so much for the lesson I won’t forget.
