I have a XF 3.0 v6 petrol Supercharged on a 2017 plate. Can anyone confirm whether this engine has a timing belt or chain. At what age or mileage does it need changing. I'm a low mileage user.

I have and xf s on 16 plate and am told by my brother ( a mechanic ) it has a chain which never needs replacing.
