If I leave the car for a few days when I start the car I get a smell from the air con like wet rags.

Main dealer reckons that the air con needs  re gassing but the air con works OK and provides hot and cold air on demand.

(Annoying thing is that I had the car serviced in March this year and paid £40 for an air con refresh).

Is it possible that a drain hole is blocked or something like that?

Check the drains in the corners of the windscreen, also check the pollen filter. Then as above, get an aircon bomb and let that off.

Thanks for those suggestions.

Does anyone know where the pollen filter is located on a 2019 XF?

I looked under the glovebox but all I could see was the fan for the aircon. No wonder it sounds so noisy in this model.

The air con intake is also not readily visible on this car. Jaguar really were keen on cutting build costs on this model.
