We've had our 2017 XF (which we bought new in 2018) for three years now and have always wondered about a login message that we got every time we were at a stoplight. Recently, we also got a message that we had not activated our license yet. I had asked on a different forum a number of times about it and received no responses. I also asked that tech guys from two Jaguar dealers and they had nothing for us. Finally, I waited around and was able to talk to the tech guy at Patrick Jaguar in Naperville, IL. He went to the car with me, checked it out, and found that the memory chip in the back of the console WAS NOT INSERTED ALL THE WAY. It must have been overlooked by the dealer from whom we purchased the car new. After seating it and helping me get registered and logged in, we can now see cool stuff like how busy the streets are on our route. I guess I asked on the wrong forum, eh?
