I'm trying to update mine as well..2015 XF R-Sports..

There's no sd slot in arm rest and I can't see anything in the boot that looks like a satnav system..

I'm completely baffled as it works (but is out of date) and gives me live traffic updates and suggests alternative routes...

How can I update  ?

i have a 2012  and  its the gen 2.1 system and maps are stored on built in hard drive, i got update for £89 download but you can buy it already installed on a usb stick for a little more, Activation code is included and takes around 3 hours to install but engine must be on all the time.   wont post website here as just joined and not sure if its allowed so message me if you want address

I have to say, I was interested in updating the maps in my 2012 facelift XF-S but soon became discouraged by the cost. It was nearly £200 for the genuine Jaguar USB and I have an iPhone with Google Maps.

shame on you JLR, well and truly priced out the market there

Hi, try www.satnavishop.co.uk.
Depending on you XF’s age there are different options. I updated mine and tried to download it to a usb. It’s better to pay the extra and have them supply the upload pre-installed on an usb.
Mind you, installation takes up to 3 hours and is assigned to your car via its VIN number. The car has to be running whilst the installation takes place.
Hope this helps
