Hello. This is my first post so I hope this is ok. I don’t own a Jaguar at the moment but am an avid classic car fan and a classic Jaguar is one on my list!  Today I picked up 3 bonnet mascots and was looking for some advice as to there age what model they would of been fitted to etc ? They are all the same size at 8” long and very similar in most ways. The only real difference is in the weight. Two of them way around 260g and the 3rd around 650g it’s quite a lump. Would anyone have any ideas as to what they are made of?

 Thanks I’m advance

Aaron

Welcome to the club, Aaron.

The models you have there are not bonnet models.

The model that goes on the bonnet is quite lighter and the one I have on my bonnet is fixed by adhesive.

I would only recommend an S Type  for the Leaper [as known].  The other Jaguars does not suit the Leaper.

Regards,

Peter.

Thank you for the reply and welcome Peter.
I wrongly assumed these to be bonnet mascots what would you think they are then?

Hi Aaron,

Those other Jaguar models are mostly used on top of a mantelpiece, a sideboard or a desk.

Peter.
