High level and brake lights on when reversing

I had some new tyres put on my 2006 3.0l V6 S Type today. When the car was being reversed off the ramp I noticed that the high level brake lights were on at the same time. A bit later I was reversing into a space near some windows and saw the same thing.

Is this normal?

Any help/advice gratefully received!

Don't panic! The, obvious, answer came to me in the middle of the night - of course the light was on, the brake/clutch was being used to control movement! 🤨
