FUEL CONSUMPSION

Hope someone can through a bit light on this one about 6/8 weeks ago i put approx 5 gallon of petrol in my XFS 275 bhp there was approx 6 gallon of diesel in the car i drove 2 miles and stopped for about 30 minutes and when i came to start the car it wouldn't start so had R.A.C. recover it back home then I got in touch with fuel fixer and they drained the tank and put 20 litres of diesel in  i have put 3 tanks  of B.P. ultimate through and used Liqui Moly x2 bottles and also put purge treatment through now the BIG problem is before the issue of putting petrol in the car was doing 36 to 38 mpg around the doors but now its only doing 25 mpg I have changed the Oil filter and fuel filter and  the engine Oil what i am thinking now is have I damaged the injectors or something else the car drives perfect with loads of power Now I cant think of what else could be wrong so any help will be of great assistance to me and thank in advance

 Hi Ray --can i ask is it making Oil or using Oil at all now ???

Hello I don't seem to have any problems with Oil not using any or losing any

Hi--The reason I ask if it was making Oil was because if its coming up the stick  the petrol would be

getting in the Oil --I think putting petrol in a diesel engine would wash things too much ???  

And like you say could have damaged the injectors ???

Am I right in thinking that you are saying "making oil" do you mean coming out of the tube were a dipstick is is supposed to be if so no there's nothing coming out of the place were a dipstick would be I took the cap off and there's nothing coming out of there do you think it could be the fuel injectors  and maybe get a test done on them one of those things to do with them I think it's called a leak off test

 "NO" what I said is it making Oil ---is it a little higher than the mark on the dip stick ????
