I have had a problem with a continual battery drain and at night have noticed that the hazard switch light comes on then the screen lights up and after around 40 second they both go off  this is when the car is locked up and shut down the drain  is approx 4 amps and keeps happening  every few minutes you can actually stand and watch this happening any ideas would be appreciated.

Would check the boot make sure its all dry, sometimes water in electrics makes weird things happen. Suspect it happens too during the day but less likely to notice it.

Other area to check for water is drivers footwell.

Other than that I think I would try an auto-electrician or Jag specialist. Do you have a Ctek charger? If so I would keep that hooked up until you get the drain sorted as the computers can react badly to very low voltages.

Please do report back when you get it sorted.

yep all dry , I sat in the car and locked it up when the hazard switch light comes on a light gives quick flash  flash in both footwells then you hear a faint sound its like the door is unlocking like its very slow so gonna get a stethoscope and check each door in turn and the boot as well hope to narrow it down that way,  thanks

put the car into Jaguar Dundee 2 days in December then  for 10 days in January they run through the programme and that was it  for nothing car came back the same as it went in they did say that they unplugged a door module and the battery drain stopped so they plugged it back in again and said it was ok then they found the battery flat again beggars belief the lack of expertise or service and cost £178 for nothing.
