Engine management light.

Had a 2005 x type 3 yes now only 33060 miles on it, but the engine management light has come on.

Any suggestions on what it could be? I ran a diagnostic check in the hidden menu bit no codes came up.

Hi Chris,

Are there any loose wires?

Check all wires going to ecu.

a little Is your battery old or run down? If not driving much may be a little low.

You will need to plug it in to a code reader, without codes it could be anything

Hi sorry thought you had read the codes.

a good cheap scanner i believe is 19.99 from Eurocar parts

reads codes - street wise.
