Hi I have recently brought a 2005 x type and I’m having trouble with the radio it came up with contact dealer the other day has anyone got any ideas what could be wrong with it and there’s a symbol in the too right hand corner that looks like and egg timer

Welcome to Jaguar Owners Club.

What trouble are you having with radio? If the radio is not working, its saying contact dealer to get a radio code.

Did this happen after you may be unhooked the battery?

The egg timer I believe is the system trying to solve the problem, but can not.

I have been informed this works but never tried it my self

Hi Julie iv tried disconnecting the battery but that didn’t have any effect at all iv checked all the fuses to the audio and there all fine so I’m at a bit of a lose with it really the phone doesn’t work either as it’s got a a Nokia hands free connection to it so not sure what’s wrong with it

If you have checked all fuses, connections, I am not sure.
